I enjoyed working with you in the past. After seeing your recent music videos, album art, etc, I think I have a better sense for the band's aesthetic and would love to work together again on an upcoming music video.
After listening to SLUFF, I have a music video concept that I'd like to propose...
We see a puppy (played by a person in a yellow dog costume) walking the streets trying to make friends.
He pees on a fire hydrant.
Neighborhood kids throw rocks and sticks at him.
He tries to make friends with real dogs who try to fight and run him off.
Finally, he meets Grant, Gianni, and friends. They introduce him to drinking. He pukes behind a dumpster.
They introduce him to smoking.
He goes on a psychedelic voyage.
After coming down, he finds that he's all alone again so he wanders down an alley.
There he finds Henry dressed in S&M leather.
Henry puts a studded black collar on him with a leash and takes him home where he has a nice cage with bars to stay in.
Where they live happily ever after.
The following sources of inspiration all feature bizarre tales of people in animal costumes (and one milk carton).
Tame Impala - The Less I Know the Better
Daft Punk - Da Funk by Spike Jonze
Blur - Coffee & TV
Cat in a Dog Bar commercial by Wexley
The Art of GIPHY artist Josh Freydkis
Josh's work is innocent looking with 90's style drawings, yet they are often dark and perverse. I feel like Naked Giants brand is the same—young guys with brightly colored instruments and clothes who play really loud fuzzy grunge.
If you're interested, we would talk budget, then storyboard the project, find cast shoot locations and props, and pick a shoot day(s).
