Splash's target audience is more interested in data than in design. Nothing is more important than effective communication. The best approach in this case was to utilize Splash's stunning photos, focus on clean typography, and informative diagrams to clearly tell Splash's story.
The homepage design offers multiple points of contact for the user to reach any page on the site, yet it isn't flooded with links or overwhelming. Be sure to check out the live version of the site to see the unique 2-phase homepage slider and nav bar.
All of the pages in the Why and How stream are accomplished completely with the modular building blocks.
Splash approaches every country it operates in with a customized gameplan and strategy. No two countries' goals are approached the same way. A simple visual system was needed to quickly show where Splash is cleaning water, where they are providing hygiene education, and where they're looking into sanitation.
I developed three badges, which were customized to each country's language, to be placed in the hero image, so the user immediately knows what programs are operating in that country.

There was much debate whether or not the Jharana character and storytelling method was still the right vehicle to present Splash's “Why” after the restructuring of Splash’s marketing personas.
