The Brief
Each year the Vice Presidency of Guatemala releases an annual report—informe anual—to highlight progress in governance, and social programs under the Vice Presidency's authority. The chief goal of the report is to convince the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) that Guatemala is investing in its people, ruling justly, and promoting economic freedom, qualifying Guatemala to be eligible for funding from the MCC.
My Role
I worked alongside the Vice President's attaché to design the annual report for two consecutive years—2009 & 2010. I created all designs, layout, and infographics, secured rights to photography, and oversaw print production.

Seattle Aquarium's interesting facts campaign has run for 3 consecutive years. I inherited the campaign after its first year and proceeded to create the illustration assets needed to keep the look consistent and fresh. In its third year, we leveraged the radio spots to create the Sea Creatures vs Humans game show for pre-roll.

It's expensive for a small non-profit to send a video crew across the world to document their projects and tell the stories of their beneficiaries. Instead, at Splash, we create an illustrated storytelling framework to talk about global themes while keeping them personal by following one child through their life.

Many people think that they are supporting the University when they buy branded merch, but the University only gets a small portion of those sales. This video is a fun teaser to promote supporting the Cougar Athletic Fund if you really want to support the team.
